One of the popular nighttime activities for tourists visiting Barcelona is taking in a flamenco show.
Flamenco is defined as a dance style of the Andalusian Gypsies characterized by forceful, often improvised rhythms and the guitar music that usually accompanies this style. If you want to see a flamenco show, there are a couple of reasonably priced, highly regarded ones in Barcelona. The one at the Tablao de Carmen (Spanish Village) is only 37 euros (show only.). Its troupe "presents a vibrant show, oozing Latin style and spirit." You can choose between a show only option, a tapas and show option and a four-course dinner and show option. One advantage to this show is free admission the the Spanish Village.
The Tablao Cordobes show is located more in the center of The Ramblas (easier for walking or hailing a cab after the show). It is also reasonably priced, and often mentioned as a good one.
The Palacio de Flamenco is very reasonably priced with a show and glass of sangria costing only 32 euros.
